PenTest+ Course Overview
This instructor-led course prepares you for the CompTIA PenTest+ (PT0-002/003) exam, providing comprehensive training on penetration testing methodologies, ethical hacking techniques, and security assessment strategies.
Participants will learn how to plan and scope penetration testing engagements, identify security weaknesses, execute vulnerability scanning and attack simulations, and generate professional security reports with remediation strategies.
The course includes lessons, video learning, hands-on labs, and a MeasureUp practice exam to simulate the real exam experience.
PenTest+ Prerequisites
CompTIA recommends:
- CompTIA Security+ (recommended)
- CompTIA Network+ (recommended)
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in information security or a related field
While there are no strict prerequisites, PenTest+ is intended to follow CompTIA Security+ or equivalent experience and has a strong technical, hands-on focus.
