IT Foundational Programmes
Target Audience:
● Learners from non-IT industries with no prior experience or background in Information Technology who are looking to transition into IT careers.
Program Duration: 4 Months
● Compulsory Modules: 3 months
● Elective Module: 1 month (based on individual interest or career goals)
Schedule:
● Weekdays: 2 evening sessions per week (2 hours each)
● Weekends: 4-hour Saturday session
● In total 8 hours per week
Outcomes: Job-ready certifications + IT essential and foundation knowledge

Part 1: Compulsory Modules (3 Months Total)
1. Introduction to IT
Overview: A brief orientation to the IT industry, covering basic concepts and providing a high-level overview of key IT roles. This module sets the foundation for understanding the broader IT landscape.
Learning Outcome: Basic understanding of the IT industry, its key domains, and various career roles.
2. Core IT Skills & Foundational Essentials
Overview: Hardware, software, operating systems, troubleshooting, networking, and security basics.
Learning Outcome: CompTIA A+ Certification and essential IT skills
3. Core Cloud Skills & Foundational Essentials
Overview: Covers cloud concepts, AWS core services, security practices, and pricing models.
Learning Outcome: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification and a basic
understanding of cloud computing.
Part 2: Elective Modules (1 Month – Choose One of the following stream)
1. AI Essentials
Overview: Introduces the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, real-world applications, and ethical considerations.
Learning Outcome: CompTIA AI Essentials Certification and foundational knowledge of AI technologies and their business use cases. Start of your journey toward becoming an AI Engineer.
2. Cybersecurity Essentials
Overview: Covers cybersecurity threats, risk management, security tools, and best practices.
Learning Outcome: CompTIA Security+ Certification and essential understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. Start of your journey toward becoming a Cybersecurity Engineer.
3. Development (Dev) Essentials
Overview: Covers programming basics, version control, and simple application development.
Learning Outcome: BNA Certified Fundamental Programming Skill Certification and basic
skills in coding. Start of your journey toward becoming a Developer Programmer.
4. Networking Essentials
Overview: Covers networking concepts, infrastructure, troubleshooting, and operations.
Learning Outcome: CompTIA Network+ Certification and foundational knowledge of network systems and connectivity. Start of your journey toward becoming a Network Engineer.
